Early Intervention

Braces and Wire Treatment

In some cases, traditional braces and wire treatments may be necessary for pediatric orthodontics. These treatments straighten and properly align the teeth.

Clear Aligner Treatment

In some cases, clear aligner treatment can also be used in children. Clear aligners straighten teeth with minimal disruption to children’s daily lives.

Pediatric Orthodontics Treatment Process

Examination and Evaluation

The first step is an evaluation of the child’s tooth and jaw structure by an orthodontist. After the examination, an appropriate treatment plan is determined.

Start of Treatment

According to the determined treatment plan, steps such as the placement of braces, use of jaw expansion appliances, or initiation of clear aligner treatment are taken based on the child’s needs.

Regular Check-ups

During the treatment, the progress of the child’s tooth and jaw structure is regularly monitored, and adjustments are made as needed.

Completion of Treatment

At the end of the treatment, when the teeth have reached the desired position, the braces are removed or the clear aligners are discontinued. Following this, the use of a retainer is usually recommended to help maintain the new positions of the teeth.
